Hi. Around June 2021, all audio files relating to the Project Moonbase Podcast on Archive.org were locked.

Project Moonbase has used the Internet Archive as its official podcast repository since 2010 without issues. The files were uploaded by the creators, and are distributed under Creative Commons License BY-NC-ND 3.0, so there should be no issue with copyright.

For example, here is a link to podcast episode 1, where "Download Options" shows "no suitable files", but "Show All" shows the audio files locked:
https://archive.org/details/Pmb001ANewDawn10102010

Who do I have to contact to find out why these files have been locked?

Who do I have to contact to unlock the files again?

If you would like to confirm information about the show or creators, please see Wikipedia, which has links to the relevant sources:

This has now been resolved by Jeff Kaplan, the audio files are now unlocked. Thank you.

Did you ever find out why they were locked? Unfortunately this has happened to a lot of podcast audio files on archive.org.
